You can use a terrible reckoner synthesized sounding vocalization from a couple of web sites..y'all type something and it creates a wav or mp3 file for you.
Still, why not record your own vox, or someone else's voice. Edit function of a CD or search for sound bytes, sound bites or sound boards for Homer Simpson or Mr T or king kong. Then convert the wav to mp3. There are plenty of gratuitous wav to mp3 or cd to mp3 converters. Just do a search.

You lot can find many sites which sell celebrity voices, only do a google search for "Garmin celebrity voices"
Go along in mind that I have not seen a vocalisation packet nonetheless that works with text to speech. This means the voices won't announce street names, they will but give standard instructions (due east.g. - "turn left", "turn correct", etc.)

We tried the Elf voice and killed it after just a few minutes. Dr. Nightmare is the one we utilize. The vocalisation is articulate and the driving instructions are great. The comments are definitely related to Halloween, but we tin over look that because of the clarity. It has acquired us to rename our Garmin as well. If I remember correctly the thespian that did the voice for Kitt died a few years agone and the programs are all the same copyrighted, so a royalty would accept to be paid for each copy.
If an impersonator was used, that would be unlike or the voice was synthesized the royalty event wouldn't be the problem, just "information technology doesn't sound the aforementioned."

The telephone has a very good MP3 player - and the question is: Is information technology possible to go the phone to speak the warning for speed-camera? I accept a file ( POI ) with build in audio for Garmin GPS - and the file has a adept part on this machines. What exercise i do on my Nokia 6110 Navigator. Thanks in advance. ( lamentable about my spelling - i'g not so skilful in eng. - coming from Kingdom of norway )
Best reg.

Simply checked pigtones FAQ page now, information technology now has content, for what its worth. I will give it some more time...once burnt, twice shy.
I just checked them out and can't go whatsoever of the samples to play. They but sit there saying "buffering" forever and lock upwards the calculator until I close the page. Somethings not right......

Ok, I tried again and the samples worked this time - all but the concluding one anyway. I'd give Yoda a try (I'thousand using Darth Vader's Necktie Fighter as my vehicle icon) merely non for $xiii.

It went from being Billy (subsequently the blue-nosed reindeer) to Boris.
